Dassam Falls

Tilaiya Dam
The dam is built across the Barakar River in the Koderma district of Jharkhand. The exact dam is located a bit interior from the national highway connecting Ranchi and Patna. Based on its location, you might have to walk some distance to reach this place. I have been to this place on several occasions, and every time it refreshes me ever than before. Famous for its serene and soothing surroundings, the bank of the river proves to be the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. The evening will give some eye catching moments with the sunset.
Hazaribagh – A Land of Thousand Garden
For Hazaribagh it can be undoubtedly said that, it is the most naturally gifted city in Jharkhand. Once, it was considered one among the many hill stations in India. Being located at a higher altitude, the city is surrounded by many mountains. Kanheri hill is one of the most famous hills situated in the heart of the city. Moreover, its salubrious weather will make you fall for this place, every time you go there. Some of the other places that can be visited include the
Hazaribagh Lake and Parasnath Temple, which is believed to be the salvation spot for 23 Jain prophets. Hazaribagh National Park is yet another famous spot with various wild animals like wild boar, sambar, nilgai, chital, sloth bear, tiger, and panthers.
Hundru Falls
Hundru Falls is one of the most visited destinations by tourists in Jharkhand. The fall is believed to be formed out of the Swarnarekha River at a height of 320 feet, the highest in the state. Having already been adorned with several falls, Hundru fall brings more beauty to the state. The base of the fall is used as a bathing place and picnic spot for many who come to witness this place with their families and friends. The best time to visit this place is during summer, as you can feel the nature in its purest form.
